HUNSUR KRISHNAMURTHY

Hunasuru krishnamurthy is Producer and Director of kannada cinema. He was interested in literature and plays as a child and started acting in plays at the age of ten. Kapadi, who once saw her performance and liked her, took her to mumbai and gave her an opportunity to act in the silent film 'sinhala sundari'. Later he returned to karnataka and joined gubbi veeranna's company and composed several plays. ``hemareddy mallamma'' was the first film in which he wrote dialogues. Later he wrote dialogues for many films. He became a director through the film ``sree krishna garudi'' which was released in 1958. Later he directed wonderful films like ``bhakta siriala'', ``babruvahana'', ``bhakta kumbara''.
