RÚNAR RÚNARSSON’s feature career began in 2011 with VOLCANO, which premiered at the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes and won 17 international awards. His second feature, SPARROWS (2015), claimed 20 international awards, including the top prize at the San Sebastian FF. His third feature, ECHO (2019), premiered at Locarno after being selected for the Cannes Atelier, winning six international awards.
