Mangesh Joshi ventured into filmmaking after completing his engineering studies in 2003. He made several documentary films and short films, earning recognition at film festivals. His first feature length screenplay was selected for NFDC Writers’ Lab section in 2007 and was mentored by Oscar winner, Danis Tanovic and BAFTA nominee, Olivia Hetreed. NFDC produced his debut feature film ‘He’ which was officially selected at prestigious film festivals. His second feature, Lathe Joshi was screened at 24 international film festivals and won 15 awards. Karkhanisanchi Waari is his third film.
