Armuga a parrot fortune teller trying make living amidst an overcrowded market place. and his wife works as a maid. for his bad luck, his parrot gets stolen along with its cage. having no other option to earn money he seeks advice from his friend Subramani. Subramani, comes up with a plan of erecting a shrine of god Shani and appoint Armuga as its priest. the lady luck blesses them with wealth & a good fortune. but with greed and lust for money their friendship comes to a dead end. will they both reunite and continue with the shrine business or will they go separate? is there any difference between a caged parrot & people like Armuga and people who follow unworthy practices and beliefs? And is there any liberation from this irony, bondage, greed?
