Synopsis

The film follows the three childhood friends from a small coastal village in Karnataka as they each pursue different things in life. One of them, Shashank, moves to the United States and the film charts his journey as he tries to assimilate into American culture. Meanwhile, Surya and Bhumika remain in the village, and while Surya embraces tradition and Shashank embraces modernity, Bhumika helps to bridge the two groups. Their friendship is tested as they each pursue their own individual dreams, but they remain united in their support for each other

Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar is an Indian director, actor, screenwriter and a lyricist who predominantly works in Kannada Cinema. He made his film debut as a screenplay writer in Kadina Benki (1986) which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film and the Karnataka State Award. His directorial debut was Undu Hoda Kondu Hoda (1991) for which he won the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Story.
