Synopsis

Eva, a 16-year-old girl, lives with her mother, her younger sister and their cat, but wants to move in with her estranged father. Clinging onto him, she tries to balance between the tenderness and sensitivity of teenage life.

Valentina Maurel

Director

Valentina Maurel was born and grew up in Costa Rica. She went to study in Paris and after that in Brussels where she attended INSAS. In 2017 her short film “Paul est là” won the Cinéfondation first jury prize in Cannes. Her second film “Lucia en el limbo” was her first film shot in Costa Rica and was also in 2019’s critic’s week at the Cannes festival.
