Visakesa Chandrasekaram


Visakesa Chandrasekaram is a lawyer, academic, and artist who has made two feature films, Sayapethi Kusuma (Frangipani) and Paangshu (Earth). His novels, Tigers Don’t Confess and The King and the Assassin, have been published to great acclaim. He has also written and directed several stage plays, including Forbidden Area, which has won numerous awards. Visakesa currently works as a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Law at the University of Colombo.
