Roopesh Shetty is an Indian actor working across Tulu, Kannada, and Konkani cinema, and a popular radio jockey based in Mangaluru. He began his journey with Tulu comedy content on YouTube before making his film debut with DIBBANA (Tulu). After early struggles, he rose to prominence with the hit Tulu film GIRGIT (2019). Roopesh gained statewide recognition after winning BIGG BOSS KANNADA OTT – SEASON 1 (2022) and BIGG BOSS KANNADA – SEASON 9 (2022). His latest film is JAI, which he has also directed.
