This social satire follows African immigrants in Paris as they navigate everyday life in a new and unfamiliar environment. Through humor and situational comedy, the film captures their efforts to adapt, belong, and assert their identities while confronting cultural misunderstandings, prejudice, and the contradictions of life in the French capital.

Désiré Ecaré is an Ivorian filmmaker born in Abidjan who studied dramatic art in France and trained at IDHEC. He founded the production company Les Films de la Lagune and developed an independent practice rooted in African and diasporic experience. His filmography includes the short CONCERTO FOR AN EXILE, his debut feature À NOUS DEUX, FRANCE and VISAGES DE FEMMES. His work is known for sharp social observation and a focus on African identity and modernity. His awards include the Grand Prize of Young Cinema at Hyères and the FIPRESCI Prize at Cannes.
