Kishore Kumar G, popularly known as Kishore, is an acclaimed Indian actor renowned for his work in Kannada cinema. He completed his education at St. Teresa`s School, Sri Siddhartha High School, National College, and Bangalore University. Kishore discovered his passion for acting at an early age, pursuing it through theatre during his college years. He participated in various plays, including Samrat Ashoka and Teregalu.
After completing his master’s degree, Kishore began his career as a teacher of Kannada literature at Sharada College in Bengaluru, where he taught for two years. However, he decided to leave teaching to follow his dream of becoming an actor. He made his acting debut in Kanti (2004), which marked the beginning of his cinematic journey.
In 2005, Kishore won the Karnataka State Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Raakshasa. The following year, he made his Telugu film debut in Happy, portraying ACP Rathnam. In 2007, he ventured into Tamil cinema with his role in Polladhavan. Over the years, Kishore expanded his repertoire, making his mark in Malayalam and Bollywood films.
He has been a part of several critically acclaimed Indian films, including Duniya, Jatta, Ulidavaru Kandanthe, Adukalam, Attahasa, Visaranai, Kabali, Vada Chennai, Kantara, and Viduthalai Part 2. Kishore’s versatile performances have established him as one of the most respected actors in Indian cinema.
