Synopsis
Seeba, a poor farmer, dreams of owning a farm for his family but struggles to make ends meet. He sends his son abroad with the hope of fulfilling his dream but is shattered when his son tragically dies and he can't bring back the body. As the village festival approaches, Seeba, who is the custodian of a specific ritual, finds no help from those he relied on. The movie reflects socio-political issues, the conflict between heart and mind, and the healing power of nature's love.

Director's Biography
K YASHODA PRAKASH
Yeshoda Prakash, a financial advisor, producer, and director who is driven by her passion for promoting talent within the film industry, founded her own production house, Swasthik Entertainment, in 2017. Yeshoda's commitment to raising awareness about the Kodava language, its people, and culture motivated her entry into filmmaking. In 2022, Yeshoda Prakash made her directorial debut with the film RANGAPRAVESHA. Her latest project, KANDEELU: THE RAY OF HOPE, was screened at the prestigious KIFF 2023.
