Synopsis
A pick-up truck driver leaves Kathmandu airport for a two-day drive with a delivery arriving from abroad to a remote mountain village. On the high road, a solitary figure slowly makes his way, wheeling a small red suitcase toward the same village.

Director's Biography
FIDEL DEVKOTA
Fidel Devkota is a filmmaker and visual anthropologist from Nepal who has been active as a filmmaker, anthropologist, photographer, and lecturer for the past decade. His works are mainly focused on human-environmental relationships, addressing the themes of spiritual, social, and economic transformation in a time of environmental and political change in the Himalayas. BONE TRUMPET was his debut fiction film. His latest feature film, THE RED SUITCASE (2023), has been selected at the Venice IFF.
