Synopsis
Inspired by a true story: The career of Amitai Kriv, an Israeli author who’d enjoyed great success in the 1960s, has declined over the years. Now, in the late 1980s, Amitai decides to fight for his place in the annals of Israeli literature. To achieve this comeback, Amitai needs to hire a young and ambitious researcher of literature or at least someone who can pass as one. Margo, a failed actress living at her sister’s, jumps on the mysterious job offer. Thus begins the meeting of a desperate author and eccentric young woman, destined to change each other’s lives.
