A lady is among the few cosmic explorers who depart Earth to establish a new civilization. They are unaware that the end of their own dream is within them. As their offspring revert to a primitive local culture and create new myths and gods, they perish one by one.

ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಹಿಳೆ, ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ತೊರೆದು ಹೊಸ ನಾಗರಿಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲು ಹೊರಡುವ ಕೆಲವೇ ಕೆಲವು ಹೊಸ ವಿಶ್ವದ ಅನ್ವೇಷಕರ ಗುಂಪಿನಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಆದರೆ ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಕನಸಿನ ಅಂತ್ಯವು ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗಡೆಯೇ ಅಡಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಅರಿಯದೇ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಸಂತತಿಯು ಮತ್ತೆ ನೆಲಮೂಲದ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯತ್ತ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ, ಹೊಸ ಪೌರಾಣಿಕ ಕಥೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ದೇವತೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವಾಗ, ಅವರು ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಾಗಿ ನಾಶವಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Andrzej Żuławski (1940 - 2016) was a titan of avant-garde cinema. He studied philosophy at the Sorbonne and filmmaking at IDHEC in Paris. After assisting Andrzej Wajda, he debuted with THE THIRD PART OF THE NIGHT (1971). His career was defined by "hysterical" emotional intensity and frequent bans by Communist authorities, notably for THE DEVIL (1972). Major awards include the Locarno Best Director prize for COSMOS (2015) and the French Legion of Honour. Parallelly with his filmmaking, he maintained an active literary career, writing multiple novels and reflective prose works.
