Ebrahim Amini (b. 1982), born in Ahvaz, Iran, is a distinguished screenwriter and director who rose to prominence through his frequent and highly successful collaborations with filmmaker Mohammad Hossein Mahdavian. He first made his mark as a screenwriter for landmark Iranian films such as STANDING IN THE DUST (2015), MIDDAY ADVENTURES (2017), LOTTERY (2018), and WALNUT TREE (2020), the latter of which garnered significant international acclaim. K POPPER is his debut directorial feature film.
