Kaori, an aromantic and asexual woman, is left shattered after her fiance Takerus sudden suicide. Seeking closure, she embarks on a journey with Nakano, Takerus best friend, to the place of his death unraveling hidden layers of love, identity, and the self exploration.

Yasutomo CHIKUMA (b. 1983) started his film career as an actor in 2004, and later asserted himself on the international scene as a director with his debut feature NOW, I… (NC '08) in 2008. In 2011 he wrote the script for NINIFUNI by Tetsuya Mariko, which was shown at the Locarno FF.
