A single mother, Kayal, and her 12-year-old son, Prabhu, have a medical condition. Kayal keeps this a secret from everyone, including her son. Suspicions are raised when one of Prabhu tablets goes missing, and Kayal becomes anxious that people especially Prabhu may find out that the missing tablet is an ART tablet, which reveals that they are HIV positive

ಒಂಟಿ ತಾಯಿ ಕಾಯಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳ 12 ವರ್ಷದ ಮಗ ಪ್ರಭು ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಒಂದೇ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಕಾಯಲ್ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನೂ ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಯದಂತೆ ಗುಪ್ತವಾಗಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾಳೆ. ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಪ್ರಭುವಿನ ಮಾತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲೊಂದು ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಅನುಮಾನಗಳು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತವೆ. ಕಾಣೆಯಾದ ಮಾತ್ರೆ ART ಮಾತ್ರೆಯೇ ಎಂಬ ಸತ್ಯ ಹೊರಬಿದ್ದರೆ, ತಾವು ಇಬ್ಬರೂ HIV ಪಾಸಿಟಿವ್‌ ಎನ್ನುವ ವಿಷಯ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ—ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಭುವಿಗೆ—ತಿಳಿದುಬಿಡಬಹುದೆಂಬ ಭಯದಿಂದ ಕಾಯಲ್ ಆತಂಕಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗುತ್ತಾಳೆ.

Aravind Siva is a South Indian filmmaker from Sivakasi who began his journey with the IFFR Tiger Award film PEBBLES where he worked as an assistant director. Taking up small jobs from selling movie tickets to writing for local TV to stay connected to cinema. His path changed when he joined director Vinoth raj p.s. Later, after meeting a mother and son living with HIV, Aravind began volunteering at HIV camps, an experience that deeply moved him to do his debut film THE TABLET.
