LIFE IS ROSY LA VIE EST BELLE MWEZÉ NGANGURA

La Vie est belle, is a musical comedy set against the pulsating music scene of Kinshasa. The film follows a rags-to-riches journey of a poor rural musician, played by legendary Congolese artist Papa Wemba, widely known as the King of Rumba Rock, who arrives in the city dreaming of fame and success. Marking a significant shift in Congolese cinema, the film adopted a more artistic and celebratory tone, rather than focusing on colonial trauma, it foregrounds urban life, music, and Congolese cultural vitality. The soundtrack features leading artists like Tshala Muana, Klody, and Zaiko Langa Langa.
